The Story Behind Our Name: Inspired by Luna
Luna Cleaning Service was founded on a deep belief in the power of resilience and a commitment to genuine care. My journey began in the disciplined environments of hotels and hospitals, learning that true cleanliness is about creating spaces where people feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. The true inspiration, however, came with my granddaughter, Luna. Born at just 26 weeks, she fought day after day with incredible strength and resilience. Watching her thrive and celebrate her 9 month milestone, a miracle wrapped in joy changed everything. I named this business to honor her light. Every job we undertake carries that same spirit: resilience, meticulous care, and a dedication to making things better than we found them. At Luna Cleaning Service, we don’t just clean we uplift. We create spaces that feel peaceful, renewed, and full of fresh possibility.

Meron Berhe, Chief Operating Officer
Meron Berhe serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Luna Cleaning Service, where she oversees daily business operations and ensures the company consistently meets the highest standards of service. With over 10 years of experience in customer service, Meron brings a strong focus on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team management.
She earned her General Studies degree from Howard Community College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). Meron has previously worked with Kaiser Permanente , where she developed valuable experience in professional service environments and organizational operations.
As a mother of two, Meron understands the importance of trust, reliability, and attention to detail values she brings into her leadership role at Luna Cleaning Service every day.
